Apple picking is one of the best fall traditions. You get to spend a cool, sunny day riding a tractor to the orchard, loading bags with fresh apples plucked right from the tree. Hot apple cider may or may not have something to do with it, too.

It's easy to walk away with more apples than you planned, so I put together a list of healthy fall recipes that will have you hitting the bottom of the apple barrel before you know it.
