Calcutta Marble Backsplash with Herringbone Texture

As seen on Prefit's Love It or List It Too, Jillian Harris' overall design began by removing the fireplace obstacle at the entrance, adding around 5 feet to the kitchen. The wall that separated the kitchen from the dining room was removed, The London Grey kitchen island was placed on wheels so that it could easily be moved if more space is needed, it also double as a portable bar-perfect for entertaining. The backsplash is Calcutta marble, which is considered timeless, but was made more contemporary by laying a herring bone design. The floor is Rosedale series, light grey. Walls were painted Silver Drop. Kitchen counter tops are Stone Grey. The small kitchen counter bench left of the stove doubles as a homework desk for Joyce's boys-a request she made so that they can be close while she cooks.

Modern White and Mint Green Kitchen with Dinette

This kitchen in tones of gray, white, and mint green has a distinctive modern look. Minimalist cabinets offer plenty of storage and the small dinette with upholstered gray seating and contemporary white dining table provides a place to enjoy a light meal or cup of tea. The distinctive lighting fixtures contribute to the modern look. An elegant white flower arrangement in blue vase adds color while the white subway tile backsplash adds visual interest. A separate kitchen island with white counter and matching dark wood adds both style and function.

Open Concept Kitchen and Dining Room

As seen on Prefit's Love It Or List It Too, Designer Jillian Harris completely transformed what was a dark kitchen into an open concept kitchen and dining room. Jillian removed the entire wall between the old kitchen and dining room, creating space for an island with a live edge 100 year old fir countertop. Jillian painted the dining room Siberian Snowflake and installed American Walnut Authentic engineered wood flooring.

Imported Wall Hangings in Family Room

As seen on Love It Or List It, Too, the old piano room was never used so it became the family room with coffered ceilings adjacent to the newly installed fireplace. Jillian brought in a custom made sectional sofa, a wrought iron wall hanging from Egypt and traditional Italian hunting prints to give the family the Tuscan inspired feel they were looking for.

As seen on Love It or List It, Too. homeowners Neena and Jag entertain up to 30 guests at a time so they needed an open space that could accomadate large groups. Designer Jillian Harris created an open concept floor plan by rearranging the kitchen and dining rooms. A large driftwood table in the dining room offers ample seating.

Beach Inspired Contemporary Mudroom

As seen on Prefit's Love It or List It Too, designer Jillian Harris decided to make a contemporary mudroom for the family. The homeowners needed a space where the family could come in from enjoying their time in the pool and leave their wet things. The mint green and cream striped walls give the space a beach feel, while the bright red "pool" lettering gives the space a touch of modern flair.
