Cool, cloudy and a chance for showers is the story of your forecast through Wednesday, but conditions are trending drier after that into early next week.
Counties to our north will see the most rain. If San Diego gets receives any showers or heavy mist at all, it’ll be in and west of the mountains starting tonight through Wednesday afternoon.
Daytime highs will take about a 5 degree dip at the lower elevations Wednesday. That puts the coast and inland a couple degrees below average in the low 60s to low 70s, while the mountains and deserts will hang onto above-normal conditions, in the mid-50s to 60s and the low-to-upper 70s, respectively.
Strong winds will target the passes and canyons tomorrow afternoon with some gusts climbing close to 40+ mph.
Everything should calm down just in time for Thanksgiving Day. Temperatures will be right around seasonal averages across the board. It should be dry and the winds will have tapered off by then as well.
Most of the region will still see a light cloud cover, but if you want to escape those conditions and find some sun, we recommend heading out to the deserts on Turkey Day!
The models for Friday and Saturday are trending drier, so any previous predictions for rain chances have been removed from the forecast.
