Good Large WALKER & HALL English Silverplate ROLLBACK SERVER w/Inserts-NR!

Up for bid is a nice vintage English silverplate rollback serving dish by Walker & Hall. The server is 14 1/8 inches long over the handles by about 8 1/4 inches tall and 8 1/2 inches wide (excluding the knob).  It has a plain rollback top with a molded edge, scroll handles and reeded legs with paw feet. It has both the pierced grille and solid inner drip trays.  It has not been monogrammed.  It is marked [W][&][H] with the pennant trademark on the lid, and with the pennant trademark, “51895[A]”, “WALKER & HALL / SHEFFIELD / ENGLAND”, “44/69” on the base.
Condition on the piece is fairly good.  One half of the threaded button handle is missing and the other half is a bit discolored.  There are some minor dings and a few interior spots, as well as minor wear-through at the major contact points.  I have not disassembled it entirely to clean it but it looks good.  A fine and useful English plated server.
